Lead Artist
Originals was an choice based narrative game - an elevated story game referred to internally as “the HBO of narrative games”. I acted as Lead Artist on Originals ,from prototype to release, managing a team of 6 artists. I owned the aesthetic vision for all our series and personally concepted visuals for Safe Word, Hands On, Side Effects, Famous, & Shattered Crown including producing mood boards and characters references for each.
Collaborating with narrative designers and developers, I spearheaded a “script to unity” pipeline - a series of unity templates or “scene rigs” that acted as the frame work for all content in the game. Similarly, I worked with our senior concept artist and created a photoshop to unity pipeline in which artists could export unique scene art and set lighting that replicated photoshop layer styles directly to unity. I evangelized the vison for the pipeline and mentored a team of 11 artists in it’s use and troubleshooting.
